I graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. From there, every job I’ve had involved animals, but it wasn’t until a wildlife rehabilitation internship in the Florida Keys that I discovered my passion for animal medicine. Since then, I’ve been obsessed! I made the change from wildlife rehab to veterinary medicine back in 2018.

Along my journey of learning and growing in veterinary clinics, I picked up a cat or two along the way, and now there are three of them! Mochi and Darby, two Persians, and Risotto the Siamese. When I’m not learning more about the field in my free time, I like to draw, birdwatch (and convince my partner to birdwatch with me) play video games, and watch nerdy shows.

I’ve always been surrounded by animals. For me, taking care of them and helping them heal is the best way to give back to the amazing beings that made me who I am today!
