Our Hospital Assistants
We have the most caring assistants that a veterinary hospital could ask for. These young men and women are always checking on our patients and helping the technical staff by being their eyes, ears, feet and hands. This hospital is extremely appreciative of their compassion and dedication to our patients. They work tirelessly to have everything stocked and ready for the next day and take pride in their work. When you come to our hospital and notice one of these fine individuals please let them know how wonderful they are.

Alexa - Lead Kennel Tech and "Yoda"
Hi! I am the lead kennel tech at Stuebner Airline Vet Hospital, and I love working here. Everyone here has such a great amount of passion for the work that they do. I have a plethora of pets myself, including three cats-Simba, Yoda, and Obie-and two dogs, Tilly and Khai. Animals have always played an enormous part in my life, starting in middle school. Throughout my FFA endeavors in high school and endless hours and volunteer shelters and miscellaneous clinic jobs, the love I have for animals and caring for them has persisted. I plan to become a technician here at this lovely hospital and continue my path into veterinary medicine, caring for these animals in need.

Rita and her soulmate Ser Kiplin
Lead Assistant
I was born and raised in China and left home to attend college in Toronto right after turning 18. I moved down to Houston the following year. Here I graduated Cum Laude from UH in pre-med, majoring in Human Nutrition and Biology. Instead of becoming a dietician as my family expected, I decided to pursue my real passion for animals. I’ve been volunteering with SMART rescue since 2015, doing kennel keeping, feral colony maintenance and performing TNR - which led me to my 5 foster-fails: Vabobo, Ana, Vronsky, Zephyr, and Neeko. I am the mother of 6 cats & 3 Guinea pigs and love every second of it! In my spare time I enjoy gourmet food, gardening, wine tasting, classic rock (especially Dire Straits and The Doors!) RPG playing, bad joke, badminton and cycling.

Sydney
I've been working in Veterinary Medicine for about 7 years, but I've always had a strong passion for animals. Outside of vet-med, I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, going to concerts, and going to the movies with my friends. My ultimate goal for the future is to attend vet school. Vet-med has been my dream and I couldn't imagine a better career.

“I have little time working with veterinary medicine but since I was a child I have had an interest in animals, I would like to learn more to be able to help animals, in the future I would like to go to veterinary school to be a tech, one of My favorite hobbies is helping animals every year when I travel to my country (Mexico) I like to help street dogs and then I look for a home for them. I like working at the vet because I am surrounded by many animals and I can learn more about each breed”

Emory
Hi! I'm Emory, and I've always loved working with animals. Honestly, it's the only thing I've ever seen myself doing. One of my favorite things to do is take my dogs, Wilbur and Maggie, out on long walks and play catch. They are my everything! I love to do digital art, take care of my two mice, Mulberry and Sunflower, listen to true crime podcasts, and I love to go to the beach with my family. I am currently enrolled in Lonestar Tomball in their Veterinary Technician program, and I hope to either work as a licensed technician or become a medical laboratory technician. Working with animals has brought me so much joy, and I can't wait to do it every day!
